Liquid pool size

Set the size of the liquid pool from where the evaporation must be calculated. 

Formula B.6 of IEC 60079-10-1 is used for that calculation. 

When liquids are spilled of dripping out of an enclosure, there can develop a pool on the floor. Estimate the maximum size of that pool. This can be done e.g. by the size of a drip tray that is used or by the maximum time/size before a spill is discovered. 

Be aware that under-estimation of the size of the pool leads to underestimation of the risk.

Tamaño del charco de líquido

Establezca el tamaño del charco de líquido a partir del cual debe calcularse la evaporación. 

Para ese cálculo se utiliza la fórmula B.6 de la norma IEC 60079-10-1. 

Cuando se derraman o gotean líquidos fuera de un recinto, puede formarse un charco en el suelo. Calcule el tamaño máximo de ese charco. Esto se puede hacer, por ejemplo, por el tamaño de una bandeja de goteo que se utiliza o por el tiempo/tamaño máximo antes de que se descubra un derrame. 

Tenga en cuenta que subestimar el tamaño de la piscina lleva a subestimar el riesgo.
